A highly experienced media professional with over 25 years in the industry with credits for all major broadcasters including the BBC, Discovery Networks, CNN, NatGeo, Ovation, SKY, C4 and ITV - across every genre from Documentary, Live Events, Features, Factual, News and Entertainment programming.

Part of the EMMY-winning team in 2013 and awarded Journalist of the Year as Sky Italia’s Head of Programming in 2003. Has worked on a wide range of high profile projects as Line Producer, Executive Producer and Head of Production, as well as TV Consultant for new channels.


March 2016– : QITV Ltd. Head of Productionand Line Produceron “No Such Thing As The News”

No Such Thing As The News is a brand new series for BBC2 airing each week and commissioned twice in 2016. It is an addictively larky, charming and fresh new way of delivering news and it is the only news bulletin in the world guaranteed to make you feel better afterwards!

QITV is also in development on a number of new projects for broadcast in 2017-18.


Oct15–Feb16: BBC Current Affairs – Line Producer on World War Three: Inside the War Room.

1 hour drama-documentary. We filmed a major war game with some of Britain’s most senior military, political and diplomatic figures. It was filmed over several hours in a single sitting, using concealed cameras in a purpose built set in a secure location in London. The scenarios were developed over many months of research to examine a hypothetical ‘hot war’ in Eastern Europe, including the unthinkable – nuclear confrontation. The drama re-construction was filmed in Lithuania with hundreds of extras, key actors, stuntmen and controlled weapons & explosives bringing the consequences of the war room’s decisions to life.


Mar–Oct15: BBC News – Line Producer on The Victoria Derbyshire Programme.

Bafta award winning daily 2-hour LIVE news programme on BBC2, BBC News and BBC Online simultaneously every weekday morning between 9-11am with studio discussions, original reporting and live OB debates round the UK on current affairs, topical politics and headline stories.


Nov13–Jan15: RAW TV Ltd – Line Producer and Executive in Charge of Production on “TheVatican” for Discovery USA Network.

In association with Lux Vide S.p.A. based in Rome for 6 months to oversee delicate access and contract negotiations for complex series about the Holy See with the permission of His Holiness, Pope Francis.

Start-up project for a digital creative media agency.


2009–Apr13: BBC Factual - Line Producer on ‘Space Dive’.

A landmark 1 x 96’ documentary feature for BBC2, NatGeo, BBCWW winning the EMMY for outstanding Science&Technology film of 2012. Hands-on senior production role in a small team on a high risk, technically challenging project over 4 years requiring editorial flexibility and complex scheduling on tight budget demands. Multi-camera operation in extreme conditions following Felix Baumgartner’s historic leap from the edge of space.


2009–2011: Rockabox Media Ltd. (rebranded Scoota) - Head of Production (TV, Mobile & Online).

Supervision, financing and production of all the company’s online digital campaigns using cutting-edge technology such as ‘Shutters’ for News International, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Samsung, Tesco RealFood and Santander. Original TV programming credits include First Homes (15 x 30’ for prime time UKTV), Liv for Gossip (26 x 30’ for LivingTV) Daily + weekly celebrity programming & Online streaming content for Living.com.


2008–2009: Summer Films – Head of Production.

Supervising all series for Living TV, Virgin 1 and Discovery UK. Additional credits as Line Producer for Living with My Idol (4 x 60’ ob-docs for LivingTV); with David Hasselhoff/Scott Mills & Pamela Anderson/Joe Swash, DangerHunters with Gethin Jones (6 x 60’ for Virgin1) and an award-winning campaign for Blackpool Pleasure Beach (US Advertising Awards, Las Vegas).


2006–2008: RuggieMedia Ltd. - Head of Production.

Responsible for the production of 150 hours of entertainment and factual programming per year with additional credits as Line Producer on The 80th Academy Awards 2008 (1 x 90’ for Sky 1, 2 & 3; + LIVE TX), Nothing But the Truth hosted by Jerry Springer(2 series of 8 x 60’ for Sky 1), and Executive Producer on The Variety Club Showbiz Awards 2007 (1 x 90’ for Sky 1 + LIVE TX).


2004–2005: TV Channel Consultant.

Provided sole consultancy, financial and project completion advice across all areas of television editorial production and broadcast for a number of start-up channels. Eat Cinema – a 24/7 TV Channel; created to develop and diversify the cinema experience in the UK. Responsible for the launch, promotion and editorial structure of the channel dedicated to new cinema releases, supervision and implementation of bespoke CMS architecture, data integration to support all media platforms & channel programming for annual budget of £7.5m on behalf of UK Film Board and UK Distributors. Horse&Country TV – Channel programming structure & web content. FAZE TV – planning, financial and programming formats, for first gay channel in the UK.


2002–03: SKY Italia - Head of Feature Programming, News & Sport.

Responsible for research, development and implementation of new programme formats for the launch of Italy’s SKY multi-channel platform across current affairs, topical and lifestyle genres. Executive Producer on all internal production and responsible for the commissioning of 3rd party programming provided by local independents. Winner of La Ginestra D’Oro – Journalist of the Year, 2003 for

F.A.D (52 x 30’ per episode on air for 5 years) daily and weekend round-up featuring the best in fashion, art & design.

Doppio Espresso – 4 hour, live daily morning programme and

SuperStyle – weekly x 30’ on men’s lifestyle.


1998–2002: ARTV Ltd. - Company Director, Head of Finance & Production, Executive Producer

Founder & joint-owner of TV production company that produced weekly feature programming for CNN International from a different global destination each week. Produced over 350+ foreign shoots as Senior Producer and Director. Complete management of company and financial audits. The ArtClub (30’ weekly, for 5 years for CNNi) in-depth reporting of global art events. Hotspots (30’ for 3 years for CNNi) featuring vacation destinations worldwide. Rewind 2001 (6 x 30’ for CNNi) documentaries examining effects of 9/11 on New York. Dream Destinations (26 x 30’ for The Travel Channel) luxury travel series. The White House Art Collection with Hillary Clinton (1 x 60’ for CNN& Ovation Networks, USA). Visions of Europe (1 x 60’ for Turner Inc.) on changing borders within Europe.


1997: Antelope South - Head of Production

Managed all of Meridian’s Arts Programming for ITV including The Pier (12 x 30’; Winner of 2 RTS Awards 1997), Festival Pier (4 x 30’) arts review programmes, Pier on Film (6 x 30’) film review show, Taped Up (6 x 30’) series featuring first-time Film Directors.


1996: Black and Blond Ltd. (Tiger Aspect Prods); Company Director & Head of Production

Friends’ with Gaby (1 x 60’forChannel 4; LIVE) and The Gaby Roslin Show (12 x 60’ for Channel 4; LIVE).


1995: L!VE TV - Live Content Production Manager

Responsible for all ‘out of studio’ live production totalling 14 hours of transmission per day.


1991–94: Evolutions Television Ltd. - Location Producer & Manager of Host Broadcaster Operations. LIVE coverage of events such as: Royal Palace Events, Commonwealth and European Summits, NATO Peace Conference, Maastricht Summit, G8 Summits, & VE / VJ / D-Day Commemorations.


1990–91: ITN News – Production Manager for ‘Specials’ Department and Host Broadcaster Operations on major events of national importance.
